Abstract

This study briefly examines what is Social Utopianism, who propagated the theory of Utopianism in English literature and India, major influences on William Shakespeare which forced him to propagate him to use this philosophy and ideology in his last play, and a critical analysis of The Tempest to find the social utopianism in it and Shakespeare’s treatment of this philosophy in this play.
